City of Miami Proclaims July 10 as Katy Puig Day

Our firm was honored to attend a ceremony where the City of Miami proclaimed July 10 as Katy Puig Day. Katerina “Katy” Puig sustained catastrophic injuries in a 2022 boating accident in Biscayne Bay. Despite this life-changing event, Katy has displayed resilience and a positive attitude that is truly inspiring.
According to the proclamation, “In the face of tremendous adversity, Katy has shown exceptional strength and perseverance — overcoming unimaginable challenges with grace, determination, and an unbreakable will to move forward.”
The team at Liberman Cabrera Thompson & Reitman had the privilege of representing Katy with regard to the accident that caused these catastrophic injuries, and we were so proud to witness her recognition today.
